I believe what you wrote was very logical. However, what about this? suppose you added a little content? I am not suggesting your information isn't solid., but what if you added a post title to maybe get a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda plain. You could glance at Yahoo's front page and see how they create post titles to grab people interested. You might add a related video or a related picture or two to grab people excited about what you've got to say. Just my opinion, it would bring your blog a little bit more interesting.
